Description

We’re hiring and training 4–5 new team members to work in the woods!
No experience needed - we pay to train and provide all necessary gear (other than good CSA footwear).
We need to have individuals with a willingness to work, learn, and show up.

This is hands-on, outdoor work that isn’t easy, but for the right person, it’s a chance to build real skills and be part of something meaningful.

This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required. We train all new hires directly in the field, teaching the skills needed to safely and effectively carry out pre-commercial thinning (PCT) with a potential to grow with our company.

This role is physically demanding and takes place outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. It is not a typical job but for the right person, it offers the opportunity to learn a trade, build real skills, and grow into long-term employment within the forestry sector.

This role is well suited for individuals seeking to enter the workforce, transition into a new field, or develop practical, hands-on skills.

If you’re unsure whether this is for you, we occasionally offer demo days where you can experience the work firsthand before committing.

We are not looking for prior experience. We are looking for the right attitude and a willingness to learn!

The individuals who succeed in this role are:

  • Reliable and show up consistently
  • Willing to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment
  • Open to learning and taking direction
  • Take pride in doing a job well
  • Able to work independently while contributing to a team

This role is best suited for individuals interested in long-term employment and developing practical skills over time. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are more important than previous experience. For those who are committed, there are opportunities to learn different aspects of the work, take on more responsibility, and grow into leadership roles within the company.

Reliable transportation to a designated meeting location is required. Access to a truck or reliable all-wheel drive vehicle is not required but is considered a strong asset.

Due to the nature of our work environment and team structure, successful candidates must be able to meet company safety and screening requirements.
