Forestry Mentorship Program

Mentorship Training with Genevieve MacInnis

Experienced forestry workers have a wealth of knowledge to share. This training is designed to help you develop the skills to effectively coach, teach, and support new and less experienced workers on the job.

Through practical, hands-on learning, participants will explore topics such as:

  • Effective mentoring and coaching
  • Communicating and providing constructive feedback
  • Teaching adults in workplace settings
  • Supporting new workers with confidence
  • Building a positive learning and safety culture

The training is seven weeks, including two 3-hour in-person sessions (weeks 1 and 7) and five 2-hour virtual sessions (weeks 2-6).

Who is this program for?

This program is designed for forestry workers across all areas of the industry (contractors, silviculture, forestry professionals, mills, Christmas tree producers, and more) who want to develop their mentorship skills.
